A woodblock print is made by carefully carving a pattern into a wooden block and using it to stamp a design onto a material such as cloth or silk. Through these artifacts, you can see the distinct cultural changes that have occurred in Japan over a 100-year time period. The 20th-century prints focus on technological advances as well as a changing Japanese landscape. Tue-Thu 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; Fri 10 a.m.-8 p.m.; Sat-Sun 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
