Friday After Thanksgiving
A true appreciation for the arts can take years to master, so it's pretty tough to develop if you're a kid. With the art museum's Family Backpack Program, though, young art enthusiasts can get their hands on gallery-inspired games, crafts, and puzzles that allow them to interact with pieces without breaking the "don't touch the art" rule. Instead of tip-toeing around the Pre-Columbian Art gallery for instance, tiny art enthusiasts can put together a puzzle, play and seek-and-find game, and create a monkey mask. Fri 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
