Top of the Town 2013 Media Toolkit

Dear Denver Businesses:
Thank you for visiting the Top of the Town toolkit page. Top of the Town balloting will be live Friday, February 1 through Friday, March 15! In order to help you collect as many votes as possible, we’ve designed a marketing toolkit available for your use. Please feel free to use these marketing materials in any way you see fit. If you have social media channels and you will be tweeting about Top of the Town, please consider using the hashtag #TopoftheTown. We hope these materials aid in your Top of the Town success! Please be aware that the Readers' Choice portion of Top of the Town will be listed online-only, and Editors' Choice will be featured in both the print magazine as well as online. Also, please note, in an effort not to disappoint, and based on past experience, there is potential that a category listed on the online ballot will not get listed in the final Readers' Choice selections. How does 5280 choose the Top of the Town winners?
Our reporters and editors pick winners for every category on the ballot based on months of research. During this process, we do our research anonymously and pay for all meals and services. Our readers choose their favorites as well, casting their votes in our online ballot.

How do I get my business on the ballot?
 Our ballot is a write-in format, which means we do not provide predetermined, multiple-choice options on which to vote. Voters are free to suggest whatever business, service, shop or person they deem worthy under each category.

I have a business that deserves an award. How can I win?
Spread the word about Top of the Town voting. Contact an editor with your tip. Tell your customers to vote for you.
