Boulder's Tee & Cakes [2] has been getting a lotta love for its unusually flavored bacon cupcakes [3]--yes, you read that right. On Saturdays, the hipster bakery whips up dozens of maple-flavored cupcakes topped with chocolate ganache and crumbled smoked bacon. Sounds strange, until you discover that each bite has a pleasant balance of salty and sweet--just the flavors we like in the slightly bizarre Mo's Bacon Bar by Vosges Chocolate [4].Â
