Street artist Shepard Fairey, the guy who created those iconic Barack Obama "Hope" posters (as well as the August 2008 cover of 5280 [2]), tells National Public Radio [3] about his detention in Denver's "mini-Guantanamo" during the Democratic National Convention (hat tip to Westword [4]). Fairey recently postered the Boston Phoenix building, while the alternative newspaper shot video [5].
