Nothing Bundt Cakes Bakes Up Sweet Stuff

When I think of bundt cake, I can't help but recall the scene in My Big Fat Greek Wedding, in which the mother-of-the-bride fills that cake's hole with a potted geranium. That was probably the last time I'd thought of bundt cake--that is, until Nothing Bundt Cakes [2] delivered a white-chocolate raspberry treat to the office. After a buttery slice--and a barrage of e-mails from coworkers proclaiming it to be the best they'd ever tasted--I put the cake on my permanent list of go-to goodies. And I did some research. The Nevada-based company, which has a new Lone Tree outpost, has been baking and selling bundts since 1997. Of the nine flavors available (including cinnamon swirl, lemon, and red velvet), the chocolate-chocolate chip is the most popular. The company also offers "fillers"--celebratory silk flowers and dressy ribbons--for the cakes' holes. For Easter, check out the festive Nothing Bundt the Best [3] or the Flour Bouquet [4] designs. Bonus: Adorable single-serving "bundtlets," are perfect for dessert lovers not looking to purchase the company's standard 8- or 10-inch cake. 7508 E. Parkway Drive,  Lone Tree, 303-925-1600
