Nebbia at the Buell

nebbiaPart circus, part play, Nebbia [2], a Swiss-Canadian theater production that begins a two-night run at the Buell today, combines graceful acrobatics and an imaginative story. The show, set to an Old World score, follows three villagers, lost in a dense fog (nebbia in Italian). As they search for a way out of the haze, the trio encounters a inventive, multicultural world, where Chinese plates spin atop bamboo poles, Canadian trapeze artists fly through the air, and South American contortionists bend in impossible directions. Tue-Wed, Apr. 28-29. 7:30 p.m. Buell Theatre [3], Speer Blvd. and Arapahoe St., 303-893-4100 $20-$70
