A housekeeper showed up for work yesterday at 2403 Bluff St. in Boulder and discovered a scene of death inside, then rushed several blocks from the quiet suburban abode to flag down an officer, spawning a day-long murder-suicide investigation. When officers entered the home yesterday morning, they found the body of a woman near the front door and the bodies of two men upstairs--all dead from apparent gunfire. The three adults inside the home represent the second suspected murder-suicide case to shake Boulder in two months, reports the Daily Camera [2]. Though police declined to release names, property records show Elizabeth Schwarzenbach owns the home. The Denver Post [3] called her listed phone number and received an answering message that said, "Phil, Liz, and Christopher are not available." Although a police spokeswoman declined to provide details, there's evidence that the killer "intentionally knew this was going to happen."
