First Descents' Ski Weekend, Beaver Creek Through Saturday, December 12 | Details [2] | Read more [3] Nonprofit First Descents gets young adults with cancer outside to experience the challenge of adventure sports, such as white-water kayaking. Support their mission with a weekend of food, wine, film, and, of course, skiing. On Friday night, take in the premiere of the Long Cold Walk, before Saturday's ski-a-thon. Be sure to bid on the one-of-a-kind skis and snowboards, hand-painted by local artists.
