[2]A contingent of the country is still hopping mad over the health-care-reform law, as evidenced by the fact that the list of Democrats who say they've received threats is still growing. The latest is U.S. Senator Mark Udall, who received a disturbing voice mail at his Denver office. Udall spokeswoman Tara Trujillo tells The Huffington Post [3] authorities were able to track down the man responsible for the message, who later apologized. Meanwhile, House Minority Whip Eric Cantor, a Virginia Republican, is lashing out at Democratic leaders for "dangerously fanning the flames" by blaming the GOP (via The Washington Post [4]). Cantor confides that he, too, has faced peril. Leaders in both parties have denounced the behavior, blaming each other for inciting the violence (via USA Today [5]). Congressman Mike Coffman, a Colorado Republican, firmly denounces any "threats or acts of vandalism and violence," according to a news release [6]. "Those who engage in such reprehensible behavior should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. I also believe it is wrong for some to associate the criminal acts of a few with the millions of law abiding citizens exercising their civic duty to engage their leaders and lawmakers by voicing their opposition to this policy."
