At least, that's what Loveland officials are saying; the Colorado Association of Manufacturing and Technology says its "only narrowed its focus to" the city's Agilent campus (Coloradoan [2]). Dancin' in the Streets: The Barnes Dance. The Denver Shuffle. Call it what you may: After next month, pedestrians won't be dancing, shuffling, or making any other kinds of moves across the city's diagonal crosswalks (Denver Post [4] and Westword [5]). And, drivers, take note: The street sweepers are back, and the price for disregarding them has doubled (9News [6]).

Spray Control: As local tweeters expressed dismay over news of Lakewood police pepper-spraying a second-grade boy (Westword [7]), a Jefferson County Schools superintendent and a child behavioral expert backed the officers' handling of the allegedly violent 8-year-old (9News [8]). 

Pot Shots: Medical marijuana was up for a vote in several cities yesterday, with Lafayette passing regulations (Daily Camera [9]) and voters in Castle Rock and Grand Junction opposing dispensaries (Gazette [10]). Denver mayoral candidate Chris Romer is passing on the puff bucks (Westword [11]), and the state is investigating more than 90 dispensaries across Colorado to ensure they're properly certifying their grows (Camera [12]).
