Lake Agnes Trail
(Near Cameron Pass in Colorado State Forest State Park)
Distance: 2.8 miles each way Difficulty: Advanced Avalanche danger: Low (moderate the last half mile) Good for: Snowshoers and cross-country skiers with plenty of experience under their belts. Highlights: Views of Mt. Richthofen and the Nokhu Crags above Lake Agnes. Tips: The last third of the trail can be hard to follow, so keep an eye out for the blue poles installed by volunteers from Colorado State University. The trail is steep, so skiers should bring skins.
