Did any of you read the Sunday Denver Post's feature article [2] on gubernatorial candidate Bob Beauprez? I didn't think it was a very flattering portrayal. Neither did Colorado Pols [3] or Colorado Lib [4]. I found the disclosure that Claudia Beauprez signs notes to her husband as "Mommy" embarassing and more than a bit wierd. Why would they want that known? Then I remembered that Ronald Reagan used to call Nancy Reagan "Mommy." Maybe Beauprez is hoping readers will make a subliminal connection?
