Canine Partners of the Rockies has been creating new possibilities for Coloradans with disabilities by partnering them with highly skilled service dogs since 2002. Our dogs help people live more fulfilling and gratifying lives, thanks to their canine partners.
People with disabilities face significant barriers and often find themselves isolated from friends, family and everyday life because they feel vulnerable and unable to participate in activities.
“As he walked up the sidewalk I just had this feeling, ‘I’ve been waiting for him my whole life.’” – Peri, retired social worker, on meeting her service dog, Morgan, for the first time.
Volunteers and professional trainers dedicate years to raise and teach a single dog to become their partner’s vital link to reconnecting with the world, ensuring that each dog and partner become a great team.
In addition to service dogs for individuals, Canine Partners trains and places dogs with professionals in facilities that provide services or teach children and adults with disabilities.
Canine Partners of the Rockies commits $60,000 to each successful service dog placement. From puppyhood through retirement, Canine Partners honors the value of each dog in the partnership.
Whether a dog is partnered with a single person or a facility, Canine Partners provides loving, compassionate attention to each service dog placement.
Your support will create new possibilities for more people with disabilities in Colorado through their partnership with Canine Partners’ highly skilled service dogs.
