Florence Crittenton Services is a Denver nonprofit that educates, prepares, and empowers teen mothers and their children to become productive members of the community. We help teen families break the cycle of poverty and create cycles of success through education, health and wellness, and economic and social asset building. Through our 34-year partnership with Denver Public Schools, the on-site Florence Crittenton High School allows teen mothers to earn a high school diploma on-site. Children ages 6 weeks to Pre-K of teen mothers enrolled in the high school attend the Early Childhood Education Center (ECEC) for children from 6 weeks to Pre-K. The Alethia E. Morgan, MD Health Center is the first school-based health center to offer both obstetrics and pediatrics and is free for our teen mothers and their children. The Florence Crittenton Campus is a family resource center and single point of entry for teen families to access customized wraparound services on-site that include parenting and child development education; art therapy and mental health counseling; regular, family-focused, asset-based case management, health services and education; and financial education. This year, Florence Crittenton is proud to celebrate its 125th anniversary of service in Denver!
