Frequently asked questions
about subscriptions
There are three easy ways to get information about your subscription:
Question: Which issue will my subscription begin with?
Answer: Your first issue will arrive within 4-6 weeks of the order date.
Question: I'm moving. How can I make sure my 5280 subscription moves with me?
Answer: To ensure that your 5280 subscription continues without delay when you move, please give us six-eight weeks advance notice. The sooner you give us notice, the more likely you are to not miss an issue!
Question: One of my 5280 issues was never delivered. What should I do?
Answer: You should receive each issue the last week of the month, prior to the cover date (for example, your October issue will arrive the last week in September). If your issue is missing due to error or delivery problems, please notify us and we'll be happy to replace the missing issue or extend your subscription an issue.
Question: How can I tell when my subscription is going to expire?
Answer: Your expiration date is printed on the upper right-hand corner of your mailing label (month and year of your last issue). You may also call
866-271-5280 to inquire about your expiration or renewal status.
Question: How do I order a gift subscription to 5280?
Answer: A subscription to 5280 makes a great gift for any occasion! To give 5280, we will need your billing address as well as the names and addresses of each person on your gift list. A gift card will be sent to each recipient with your personal message.
Question: How do I know if my payment was received?
Answer: Please allow 4 weeks for payment processing.
Question: Why did I receive a renewal notice before my subscription has expired?
Answer: To ensure you don't miss a single issue, we send our first renewal notice so that you have plenty of time to renew your subscription before it expires.
Question: Why did I receive a renewal notice, when I've already renewed my subscription?
Answer: Our paths must have crossed in the mail. Please disregard the notice, but contact if you continue to receive notices so we can ensure your payment
is received.
