The Ballet Nouveau Colorado school and dance company will perform a rendition of the Russian ballet Christmas classic that will whisk you away to the land of the Sugarplum Fairy. After the show, kids can learn ballet steps from the dancers at an onstage meet-and-greet. Fri 7:30 p.m.; Sat 2 p.m., 7:30 p.m.; Sun 2 p.m. 

Baroque tradition meets contemporary dance meets improvisation. Ballet Nouveau Colorado teams up with the Baroque Chamber Orchestra of Colorado for a provocative show featuring the music of Antonio Vivaldi and Giuseppe Tartini, and a world premiere dance by artistic director Garrett Ammon and Sarah Tallma

Encore! The critically-acclaimed collaboration between Ballet Noveau Colorado (BNC) and the Denver-based indie folk band, Paper Bird, returns and with all new music. A mix of projected images, live music, and contemporary dance, the full-length multimedia production tells a hauntingly beautiful story of love, loss, and longing. Fri 8 p.m.

Don't expect the traditional Nutcracker suite when you go see Ballet Nouveau Colorado. Rock Ballets, a trio of works choreographed by artistic director Garrett Ammon, is set to the music of Queen, INXS, and David Bowie.
