Rest up Friday night, because you'll need lots of energy for the full-day festivities at Saturday's Winter Festival in Evergreen. Activities include: an ice-fishing derby, ice-biking race, dogsled rides, ice skating, and a ski and snowboard rail jam competition.

Walk out onto the ice and drill a hole...then what? Designed for beginners, this ice fishing class covers the basics and safety precautions before taking the lesson outside. Fishing rods and tackles will be provided for a trip to a nearby lake. Bring your warm layers, boots, Colorado fishing license, and some patience to learn to drop line into the icy waters.
