It seems that Josh McDaniels and Jay Cutler may finally be able to put their feud behind them. But a reconciliation didn’t happen last night, as supposed. The Denver Broncos’ freshman coach called his 25-year-old, I-want-to-be-traded-since-you-might-have-traded-me-anyway quarterback, and Cutler called him back in a game of phone tag, according to The Denver Post.
One thing is clear: McDaniels is trying to patch things up with the sensitive Cutler, although he doesn’t refer to his QB by name: “One thing I want to do and continually want to do is meet with the player,” McDaniels said yesterday. “I want to meet with the player by myself. I want to meet with the player one on one.”
