Head down to Colorado Springs to see one of the most colorful skies in the Rocky Mountain Region. More than 75 hot air balloons of all shapes and sizes will dot the morning sky, but don't be just a spectator. Talk with the balloonists, take a ride, or even crew one of the balloons.

Do you catch your kid dashing down the halls and racing across the yard? Give their sprints a direction in the second race of this youth running circuit. Tots to teens can slip on, velcro, or lace up their running shoes and challenge one of the five age-appropriate courses that range from a 25 yard crawl to a 3 mile run.

Why just be one thing for Halloween? Spend the night as a commando in the spooky, fog-filled laser tag challenge, a demolition derby champ at the haunted bumper cars, spiderman on the creepy climbing wall, and a hockey star or ice princess during the Halloween skate. Holy third dimension Batman! For the first time the world’s most famous crime-fighting duo is jumping off the page (and screen) and into the arena. This all-new live adventure will delight both kids and those who are still kids at heart. This coming-of-age story follows Robin's transformation from an orphaned circus performer into Batman's faithful sidekick.

Justin Roberts, one of the indie family rock scene's biggest stars, is coming to the Mile High City. His music, equal parts wit and whimsy, led the New York Times to tag him the "Judy Blume of kids music." Since the early 1990s, he's released seven albums and crisscrossed the nation playing for sold out crowds.

For a truly bone-tingling experience, take the whole family on this after dark museum tour. Kids won't miss the extra light as they explore with both their eyes and their hands. Many of the exhibits are interactive like the touchable cast of a T.rex skull and the hands-on fossil cleaning demonstration at the Paleo lab.

Discovering a passion for music can be both a trying and noisy event. Instructors from the Rocky Mountain Center for Musical Arts (RMCMA), however, will use their expertise to ensure that it is a harmonious experience. Kids will be introduced to several instruments from each musical family and, after short introductions, will have a chance to try each out.
