The Gist: Designer Christophe Lemaire divided his show into three distinct sections–pales, brights, and black-and-white–to show off the full range of the Lacoste line. Featuring: Opening with crisp white and beige cotton, Lemaire showed a series of totally wearable cropped pants, shift dresses, maxi shirt dresses, long skirts, easy blouses, and terrific swimwear. Citrus and sorbet jumpsuits, rompers, and striped dresses came next (definitely for the teenage to early-20s set), while the show closed with a mod-driven story of checkered polo dresses, windbreakers, and Lacoste polos. The “It” Factor For Denver:

Even though Lacoste’s polo is a summer staple, the shows’ opening group of separates easily go from smart, but casual, to beachside. And the rope belts are simple, chic spring/summer accessories.
