Trends: Affogato This simple dessert–a shot of freshly brewed espresso poured over the top of vanilla gelato–acts like an espresso float, but with far more panache. We first discovered the smooth treat in Italy, but according to New York Magazine, affogato has caught on in the Big Apple.
