New Wave doesn't quite capture the music of George Lewis Jr., aka Twin Shadow. His 2010 album, Forget, moves between synth soundscapes, power ballads, and dance music without missing a beat. While much of his sound comes from ’80s synthpop, his innovative style makes for not trips to the past but ones back to the future.
