Denver FilmCenter
When the Denver Film Society’s screenings moved into the Lowenstein complex’s three-theater space in November, a new incarnation of the Denver FilmCenter was born and the neighborly love began right away. To wit: The Tattered Cover Free Classic sessions on every first Saturday feature flicks like Alfred Hitchcock’s 1944 Lifeboat. But that’s just the start of the FilmCenter’s deep programming: Think Starz Denver Film Festival, Mile High Sci-Fi, Thursday DocNights, and the Watching Hour on Fridays at 10 p.m. Pass the popcorn, please. 2510 E.
