The Sunny, as the treat is called, brightens the traditional chocolate-chip cookie with its chewy oatmeal base, copious amounts of mini chips, and the just-detectable hint of salt. But the addition of sunflower seeds, which adds both nuttiness and an element of surprise, is the kicker.
