Top of the Town 2012
Seafood
For those who believe you can’t get fresh seafood in Denver, we urge you to dine at Potager. For 15 years, Teri Rippeto has carefully sourced every single ingredient of every single dish at her Capitol Hill restaurant. Seafood is no exception. In fact, Rippeto was the first Denver chef to establish a relationship with Ingrid Bengis Seafood, LLC, a discerning top-tier seafood supplier that has channeled its catch to bold culinary names such as Jean-Georges Vongerichten in New York. So, there’s no question the shellfish in Potager’s bouchot mussels appetizer or the seasonal fish entrée are as fresh as can be. True, Potager isn’t the only restaurant in town to draw on Bengis’ venerable seafood company—but it was the first. 1109 Ogden St., 303-832-5788, potagerrestaurant.com
