Liang’s Thai Food
Liang’s food cart at 16th and Tremont streets on the mall is the best lunch we’ve found for less than a 10-spot—including a tip. This one-wok operation sizzles up made-to-order lunch entrées ($4 to $6.50) like traditional pad thai and our favorite, the pad see-ewe, garnished with hand-chopped veggies and herbs. Go on a warm day and make sure to budget enough time because your custom-cooked lunch takes awhile when there’s a line—which there usually is. Can’t wait till you get back to the office to dig in? Go for the steamed dumplings or crab cheese wontons for the walk back—they’re only a buck per order. 16th and Tremont streets
