Top of the Town 2012

This ’70s-style lounge on East Colfax, complete with shag carpeting, is the kind of dive you can take a date to. Your lady will be impressed—or at least amused—when she’s greeted with a rose and a complimentary shot of house booze. The cozy booths along the wall and the sound of Frank Sinatra’s smooth voice billowing out of the jukebox encourage thoughtful conversation, and like any respectable dive, the lights are low, the drinks are stiff and cheap, and the owner—known simply as Pete—is often seated at the bar chatting with patrons.
