Twitterer
We spend an inordinate amount of time on Twitter during work hours under the guise of “research.” Sometimes it isn’t (we don’t need to click on every @peoplemag tweet, but we do). But much of the time we spend on Twitter is monitoring what is going on in the state. We hover around TweetDeck much like the reporters of bygone years tuned in to the police scanner. And when we need our news fast and accurate, there are few handles we trust more than Fox31’s political reporter @EliStokols. His Capitol coverage is extensive and efficient, meaning that if he’s watching a bill—we were most recently glued to his reporting on Colorado’s direct file reform in the juvenile justice system—you’re going to know when he knows how the voting turns out and what it means, all wrapped into 140 characters. kdvr.com/author/kdvrelistokols
