If you didn’t know better, you’d think Jim White, VOA director of public relations and marketing, has the ability to be in more than one place at a time. Not only does he coordinate community work for the VOA, an extensive organization that operates more than 30 human services programs across the state (affordable housing, food programs, domestic violence, at-risk youth support, and many more) but he has also been superactive in the metro area’s nonprofit scene for the better part of three decades. Whether it’s his 35-year commitment to being a “big brother,” or volunteering with the Denver Public Library, Havern School for children with learning disabilities, or Laradon services for people with developmental disabilities, White has dedicated himself to the service of others.
