Top of the Town 2012

Recently, we’d (sadly) started to think of mani-pedis as something we have to do, rather than as the hour of relaxing me-time that got us hooked in the first place. Then a friend suggested we book a session at the Four Seasons Hotel. We balked. After all, we just wanted a regular tune-up; no need for a lavish, expensive nail job. Then it hit: If we were going to while away a lunch hour being pampered, we might as well do it right. So we went upscale. At the Four Seasons, we had the area to ourselves, which meant no vying for polish or magazines. We simply tuned out. On a weekday. Between meetings.
