Farmers' Market

South Pearl Street Farmers Market
It’s a perennial editors’ and readers’ favorite, but the convivial atmosphere, variety of vendors, and just-right size make this farmers’ market our go-to summer after summer. Families with strollers, couples with their dogs, and Platt Park singles wander the lively street picking up fresh-made doughnuts, brown bagging locally grown tomatoes and peaches, and enjoying a cup of coffee while they wait for a table at Black Pearl or Gaia Bistro. There’s often music; there’s usually something good to taste; and there’s always enough to look at to enjoy a few hours on a Sunday morning. Open Sundays, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., late May through early November. 1500 block of South Pearl Street, southpearlstreet.com
