Sonny Weems scored 25 points and Joe Dabbert added another 21 as the Colorado 14ers, a National Basketball Association Development League team, dominated the Utah Flash in a 123-104 victory on Friday. Weems, a Denver Nuggets assignee, shot 10-of-23 from the field, leading all scorers and capping what has been a successful run since 2006, according to the Broomfield Enterprise.

Despite their title win, the 14ers could find themselves out of play soon if the financial health of the Broomfield Event Center, the team’s home venue, doesn’t improve.
