The Denver Post reminds us that Congress has designated Thursday, March 16 as “Liberty Day.” If, like most Americans, you’re a little fuzzy on the protections contained in the Bill of Rights, you can brush up at the State Capitol that day.

Twenty kids from across the state will be on hand at the Colorado statehouse, where they’ll pass out booklets with the text of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. They’ll be asking and answering questions from the public from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Similar events will be held in all 50 states. More information is available here. For anyone who wants to take a refresher course on their own, click here and here.
