Saturday, hundreds marched in Pueblo for immigrant rights. A national immigrants rights day is set for Monday, with rallies scheduled across the country. In Colorado, they will be held in Telluride and Grand Junction. A press conference will be held in Colorado Springs. Your Senators and Congresspersons will be in your home district during the next two weeks. Call their local office or stop by and let them know your position and your concerns. Denver, which held a rally two weeks ago, is foregoing one Monday in hopes of increasing turnout in other areas around the state. Here is the Telluride Flyer. In Grand Junction, Anglos as well as Hispanics are welcome to join the rally, which is expecting attendance from across the Roaring Fork Valley. The starting point is Sherman Park at noon.
