The Rocky Mountain News reports on a Los Angeles Times survey of Republican National Committee members’ preferences for their 2008 presidential candidate. The results have Tom Tancredo near the bottom of the pack:

U.S. Rep. Tom Tancredo is in the top tier of one new presidential survey – a list of candidates whom Republican insiders “refused to support.”

….Asked their first choice for a nominee, participants gave Tancredo 1 percent. He got another 4 percent when participants named their second choice. When asked whether there were any candidates they “refused to support,” Tancredo got 6 percent of the vote.

The top choices were, no surprise, Mass. Governor Mitt Romney and Rudy Giuliani. John McCain didn’t fare too well either.
