I first discovered Moe’s delicious, smoky eats in a tucked away corner in Vail a couple years back. And so, a few months ago, I was thrilled to hear that the joint was opening a Denver outpost.

At the new Moe’s, expect to find the same fresh-from-the-pit eats–my favorites are the smoked chicken with tangy white sauce, marinated slaw, and griddled corn bread, and the savory pulled-pork sandwich with sides of JoJos (fried sweet-potato wedges) and creamy banana pudding.

Bonus: Come for the barbecue and stay for the bowling, or at least knock down some pins while waiting for your order.
