Either the Denver Broncos’ new head coach, Josh McDaniels, is a damn fool or Jay Cutler is a quarterback-size crybaby. Such is the soap opera that now has Cutler demanding to be traded after hearing rumors that McDaniels considered trading him.

As McDaniels met with his team for the first time yesterday, addressing the feud, Cutler was missing, according to The Denver Post. McDaniels said, “‘I’ll take care of it,’ and that’s pretty much it,” said defensive lineman Kenny Peterson.

The scandal began when McDaniels, New England’s former offensive coordinator, entertained the notion of trading Cutler to Tampa Bay in a deal that would have brought former Patriots quarterback Matt Cassel to the Broncos.
