If you haven’t already discovered Parsley, a 15-month-old sandwich spot in the Golden Triangle, put it on your to-do list. The bright green shop dishes up some of the freshest lunch offerings around with organic ingredients and creative combinations.

One of Parsley’s most popular sandwiches—the Cherokee turkey—has become my mid-day staple. Each bite of Applegate Farms turkey, chipotle aïoli, pepper-jack cheese, organic tomato, and roasted green chiles on City Bakery ciabatta reminds me of what’s missing at other lunch spots.

Bonus: Order a fresh-pressed juice, from the benign apple to a more adventurous blend of kale, parsley, spinach, celery, and carrot.
