rebecca_taylorThe “It” Factor for Denver: For women who worry about feeling overdressed in this casual city, spring 2010 is shaping up to be their season. Taylor’s very wearable collection of mixed-up separates means her simple T-shirt paired with a print skirt and satin boyfriend jacket should be an easy look to pull off—even in Denver.

The Gist of the Show: Picking up on this season’s relaxed-chic theme, Rebecca Taylor’s spring collection plays with fabric mixes and silhouette shapes. The designer’s usual series of flouncy, floral-print dresses and ruffled blouses is now shown with sharply tailored polka-dot, cropped jackets and high-waisted shorts.

She takes her look a step further by integrating sportier fare, such as slouchy T-shirts; metallic, ankle-banded pants; striped T-shirts; and even a few tight, contrast-seemed dresses.
