When Brad Barnett, president of Mountain High Appliance, put together the Good Neighbor program in his demonstration kitchens, he had no idea it would become the perfect girls’ night out. His original idea was to host cooking and kitchen design classes in his beautiful showrooms to get people to come together all while raising money for a worthy local charity.

But when you combine a good cause with great food and wine, easy-to-follow recipes, and a wonderfully charismatic host (Chef Keith Jones, host of Eatertainment, CoLours TV‘s nationally-aired cooking series), you get a fun-filled night.

While your dinner browns in the oven (think chicken strudel with Parmesan or pork tenderloin with currants and rosemary), money is raised for worthy recipients in the local area. Thousands of dollars have been donated to organizations such as Flatirons Habitat for Humanity, the Boulder Shelter for the Homeless, and the Culinary Arts program at Centaurus High School.

Now that is a great night out.
