•Colorado put three cities on a list of the 50 best places to live in the United States, according to a Money magazine report released this month.
Castle Rock took the No. 4 spot of communities with populations between 50,000 and 300,000 residents, with the magazine saying the town “has come a long way from its quarry-town roots. The city is growing at a rapid clip, with a population that has more than tripled in the past 15 years.” Centennial was ranked No. 13, while Boulder came in at No. 23.

To create the list, Money examined more than 50 indicators, including the local economy, the housing market, schools, and health care.
