Also At Tarra 2017: A Pop-Up Shop That Supports Local Female Artisans

Tarra 2017, a local conference for and about boundary-breaking women in design, highlights local goods by female artisans and businesses.

Mark your calendars for an event with style and substance: Tarra 2017. Celebrating women entrepreneurs and design-industry leaders, the two-day Denver event (October 20-21, 2017) on “The Politics of Design” features keynote speakers, the opportunity to meet some of the region’s smartest design minds, and some excellent shopping. Read all about the event, which asks how design can propel meaningful change in the world, here.

A highlight of Tarra 2017 is the Artisan Pop Up, which gathers 10 Colorado artisans and women-owned businesses—who craft everything from poetry-embroidered quilts to tattoos—under one roof at the Source. Here are some of our favorite picks from this weekend’s upcoming pop-up shop:

Tarra 2017 Pop Up, October 20-21, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., The Source, 3350 Brighton Blvd.
