First Friday Art Walk | April 6
Stroll the Art District on Santa Fe from 6–9 p.m on the first Friday of every month—this month, it’s April 6—where you’ can browse collections of mixed media prints, photographs, textiles, sculptures, paintings, and graphic art by local artists. Free shuttles to and from the Light Rail are available until 10 p.m.

Flow with Bulldog Yoga | April 7
Located on Boulder’s Pearl Street, PrAna is hosting free yoga in collaboration with Thorne Nature and Bulldog Yoga. Thorne Nature will provide information about their organization’s mission, which focuses on providing youth with environmental education experiences that foster an emotional connection to nature. Immediately following is a complimentary yoga class taught by Bulldog Yoga, a Boulder studio that infuses a hot yoga practice with upbeat music. Yoga mats and blocks will be provided by PrAna.

Scope Out the Fresh Produce at the Boulder Farms Market | Every Saturday
Starting April 7, local vendors like Cure Organic Farm, Happy Leaf Kombucha, Natural Homestead Beef, and Haystack Mountain Creamery will be selling their goods from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. between Canyon Boulevard and Arapahoe Avenue. Live music and artisan shows will accompany the market. Don’t forget your reusable tote!

Music in the Galleries: La Pompe Jazz | April 8
The music series at the Clyfford Still continues with the electric, Denver-based La Pompe Jazz. The group combines unique vocals, high-energy instruments, and vintage jazz surrounded by the Still’s paintings and profound architecture. Seating is limited, so get there early (event starts at 2 p.m.).

April Showers, May Flowers | April 18–May 29
Explore the colorful transformation of Colorado’s spring at the annual art exhibition at the Ann Korologos Gallery in Basalt, Colorado. Ten artists from the Centennial State will showcase their interpretation of springtime through sculptures, paintings, and prints. Featured works include Peter Campbell’s “Lupines” on oil in acrylic.

Learn About Sustainability For Earth Day | April 21
Celebrate our beautiful planet with the Sierra Club at Colorado’s State Capitol. The Colorado Earth Day celebration will feature outdoor retailer booths, yoga, live music, and a beer garden. The family-friendly event hopes to teach people about environmentalism and sustainability.

Cherry Creek Trail Clean-Up | April 21
Last year, Colorado Whitewater—a Denver nonprofit dedicated to promoting kayaking in the Rockies—claimed that it pulled 5,000-plus pounds of garbage out of the South Platte River during its annual Earth Day cleanup. You can join in the efforts to keep Denver’s beloved multi-use pathway clean and safe this Earth Day. Volunteers will congregate  at the Downtown Children’s Playground on Wewatta Street and the Cherry Creek Trail at 10 a.m.; gloves and tools will be provided.

Día del Niño | April 29
The Clyfford Still Museum is hosting Día del Niño (Day of the Child), a celebration of children from all around the world. The event will feature live song and dance, family-friendly activities, and free admission to the museum.
