Wolf Creek Ski Area opens Saturday, October 13, marking the beginning of arguably the best time of the year—ski season.

October 13

Wolf Creek Ski Area
Opening date confirmed
Wolf Creek will be the first hill to open in the U.S. this season. The Pagosa Springs resort received more than 20 inches of snow within the last week. The lifts will start running at 9 a.m. on October 13.

October 20

Arapahoe Basin Ski Area 
Opening date confirmed
The Summit County ski area is almost always one of the first to open in the state, and this year is no different.

October 22

Loveland Ski Area
Opening date confirmed
Although it’s known for its professional snowmakers, Loveland has received 10 inches of snow since October 8 with more expected before it opens to the public on Monday, October 22.

November 7

Eldora Mountain Resort

Keystone Resort 
Opening date confirmed
Keystone will kick off its opening weekend with music, giveaways, and food starting at 9 a.m. at the Gondola Plaza.

Breckenridge Ski Resort
