Food Lover’s Book Club is a bimonthly discussion of a cookbook or food-related book led by award-winning food writer Amanda M. Faison. The free gathering takes place at the Ross-Cherry Creek Library.

With such an emphasis on dining out at restaurants, it’s refreshing to turn the tables and celebrate the art of cooking at home. Former Bon Appétit editor Alison Roman’s cookbook Dining In, with its simple, vegetable-forward, and totally achievable recipes, is just the platform for that discussion. On Wednesday, October 17, join food writer Amanda M. Faison and Annette chef-owner Caroline Glover for a chat about the wonderful world of dining in. Bonus: tasty nibbles.

Free, 6 p.m., Ross-Cherry Creek Library, 305 Milwaukee St., 720-865-0120
