Wagner Custom Artist Series Exhibition | November 21
Colorado’s favorite piece of sports equipment become the canvas at the Boulder Creative Collective’s first collaborative exhibition with Wagner Custom Skis. The collection at the AKA Gallery features graphic art creations on custom skis from a slew of Denver- and Boulder-based artists.
Light the Lights at the City and Council Building | November 29
Witness one of the mile high city’s longest-standing traditions in all of its glowing glory at the lighting of the Denver’s City and County Building holiday lights. Don’t miss the ceremonial flipping of the switch, and round out the holiday cheer at the winter festival in Civic Center Park with food trucks, festive family activities, and warm and spirited libations alike. Attendees can also spread the warmth and pay it forward by bringing hats, scarves, or gloves for the Giving Tree to donate to Colorado families in need. Help put a warm meal on every Coloradan’s plate for the holiday season and volunteer your time with a local nonprofit like The Denver Rescue Mission and Food Bank of the Rockies, which have opportunities throughout the month to serve the community, or groups like Operation Turkey to collect and distribute food and other necessities to those in need.
