Concert Benefiting Colorado Music Relief Fund Features All-Star Lineup

Dave Matthews, Big Head Todd & the Monsters, the Lumineers, and Jack Johnson are among the big-name acts that will play during Banding Together on May 30.

The local music industry employs 16,000 Coloradans and adds $1.4 billion to our state’s economy, but most of that money—and those jobs—disappear when concerts and other live music performances are canceled. In other words, the music industry needs help. Here to assist? Why, craft breweries and musicians, of course.

Big-name local and national acts like Dave Matthews, Jack Johnson, the Lumineers, Big Head Todd & the Monsters, Nathaniel Rateliff, the Avett Brothers, Brandi Carlile, the String Cheese Incident, and more will all perform during Banding Together on May 30, a live-stream concert to benefit the Colorado Music Relief Fund, presented by Breckenridge Brewery.

You can watch the performances on Saturday, May 30 from 6–9 p.m. on CBS or YouTube, or listen to all the action, which will include storytelling by the musicians and local celebs, on 97.3 KBCO. You can help by donating to the newly-formed Colorado Music Relief Fund, which provides grants to struggling Colorado artists adversely affected by COVID-19. Donations from the Banding Together event go even further thanks to Breckenridge Brewery matching the first $50,000 raised.

Music lovers looking to help or music industry workers in need of help can donate or apply for aid here. Using music to save music, Banding Together will be the first of multiple events to benefit the Colorado Music Relief Fund. Look for more throughout the summer.
