A Running List of Restaurants and Bars Closed in the Denver Metro Area

Award-winning Acorn, beloved Lola, and even Casa Bonita have shuttered since the COVID-19 pandemic began in March 2020. Here’s a living list of closures—both permanent and temporary.

The past 18 months have been brutal for Colorado’s hospitality industry, with hundreds of restaurants and bars across the Centennial State shuttering—either temporarily or for good—due to COVID-19 closures and restrictions. The Colorado Restaurant Association (CRA) estimates that more than 63,400 hospitality jobs have been lost [as of October 2020], and as winter arrives, doors are closing faster than ever. Below is a running list of all the restaurants and bars known to have ceased operations since March 2020; we will continually update this list.

Are we missing a restaurant or bar? Notice an error? Let us know at Still hungry? Support local business by ordering takeout or delivery from one of the open spots on this list.
