A Running List of Restaurants and Bars Closed in the Denver Metro Area

Award-winning Acorn, beloved Zaidy’s, and even Casa Bonita have shuttered since the COVID-19 pandemic began in March 2020. Here’s a living list of closures—both permanent and temporary.

 •

The past ten months have been brutal for Colorado’s hospitality industry, with hundreds of restaurants and bars across the Centennial State shuttering—either temporarily or for good—due to COVID-19 closures and restrictions. The Colorado Restaurant Association (CRA) estimates that more than 63,400 hospitality jobs have been lost, and as winter arrives and many local counties find themselves under Level Red restrictions (which prohibit in-door dining and set in-person last call for alcohol at 8 p.m.), doors are closing faster than ever. Below is a running list of all the restaurants and bars known to have ceased operations since March 2020; we will continually update this list.

Are we missing a restaurant or bar? Notice an error? Let us know at dining@5280.com. Still hungry? Support local business by ordering takeout or delivery from one of the open spots on this list.
