“Frank Lloyd Wright, Inside The Walls”

Most design buffs know Frank Lloyd Wright for his iconic buildings that defined midcentury American architecture. But Wright also crafted objects that lived inside his structures. See some of them at this exhibition, including the Peacock Chair, designed for Tokyo’s Imperial Hotel banquet room, and decorative plates made for Chicago’s Midway Gardens. The showcase is part of the Kirkland Museum’s yearlong celebration of Wright, which includes a lecture series with speakers like Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation President Stuart Graff and Julie Sloan, a New York-based expert on the artist. June 17, 2022 – January 8, 2023, Kirkland Museum of Fine & Decorative Art, kirklandmuseum.org
